The Dramatic Weather of Stockholm

People who live in California or have ever been for more than a few months can see that there is no real dramatic change in weather. I have noticed that ever since I’ve been to Stockholm I see how much the light and weather can affect me. I check the weather more often than usual because you never know what’s coming next and it’s not this monotone 3-month period where it’s only sun and you don’t expect any less the next day. Here in Sweden, the weather is really nice and I actually enjoyed almost all of it. Yes, the snow can get up to your knees and the winter jacket you wear everyday in the -15C weather can be really boring, but throughout the year, I can really say that it didn’t rain more than a week all together. However, maybe I’m speaking too soon because the Spring showers are coming this coming week. In the winter, as long as you have the perfect winter shoes, jacket, gloves, hat and a little hat for your nose, you should be fine in the winter. Heck, some people still go out to clubs during the winter.

Through all this I decided to take a couple pictures every month in the same spot in Björnkulla of the soccer field (yes it’s soccer to me), tree on the left and the big alien-like water tower.
