I Fika about 3 times a day and it feels so good.
Fika is a Swedish coffee break. On these days of enjoying the Swedish weather and the forest of where I live, I fika in my kitchen with my friends, fika in warm and candle-lited cafes, or fika when shopping along the Stockholm Kulturhuset. Essentially, it refers to a break in a Swedish life to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with a pastry or food where you can sit alone and enjoy people-watching or sit with a friend to talk about life. At home in San Jose, I already created this habit of going to cafes and enjoying a cup of coffee, but now that there is a term for it, it’s easy to do and I do it more often than ever.
A trip to Uppsala. It is known to be a beautiful, warm, and cozy city during the day and wild at night. It’s the biggest student city in all of Sweden where the biggest student parties are held. I haven’t experienced the party life in Uppsala yet, but I’m curious.
Here is some photographs of my school, Sodertorn Hogskola.
I went to Stockholm Public Library and IKEA.
Enjoy the pictures while having a fika,
